6 months old!

Elizabeth had her 6 month appointment today!

We found out that she has a simple Stomach bug! Thank God it's nothing serious!!

She weighed in at 16 pounds 2 ounces and 26 3/4 inches :)

Besides the "bug" , she is growing fantastic and is right on track with milestones and growth!!

New things:

Lizzy now loves to sit and watch Mickey Mouse on T.V. while I attempt to shower and clean the house...

She blows bubbles ALL the time now and is constantly "talking"...

She can sit unassisted until she becomes distracted :p...then topples over!

She now "yells" at us if we are not paying attention to her...

She still loves her jumparoo and is of course still rolling all over the place...

Lizzy has even found the cat dishes...

Right now Lizzy's favorite book is "If I Could Build A Car"

Her favorite song is the Mickey Mouse Club House theme song...

Her favorite people right now is Dory and Bells...they make her smile whenever she sees them!!

The Flu :(

On Friday Lizzy woke up screaming and wouldn't stop for almost two hours....After that she seemed fine if not a little more sleepy then usual..

Later that day she had a pretty loose poo, but seemed fine..

Saturday was pretty much the same as Friday and we found out why on Sunday!

She was cranky and sleepy all day...Then near bedtime she pucked all over her Daddy!!! Along with an on and off fever and diarrhea all night and through Monday morning...She seemed better on Monday and through Tuesday...Then got worse again on Tuesday afternoon :(

These pictures were taken tonight with a slight fever but still in a remarkable good mood!!!!

Our Day

We had a fantastic morning at church...We had woman's bible study...then Sunday School...and the church service where we witnessed another wonderful person being baptised!

Lizzy spend some time in the nursery with some other children and she had so much fun!!

Yesterday we went on a walk with Bri and took so many pictures!!

This is the view from the historic foot bridge in Brunswick!

This is the bridge!...It was very windy so the bridge was swaying back and forth!

Short Family Update

Well most of our posts are about Lizzy...well because she takes up most of our time :)....but sometimes we do things not related to changing diapers and preparing bottles!!

Jimmy is the newest member of the Brunswick Fire Department!! He has been working really hard in school to earn his Fire degree and is of course working like crazy at Lowes! He is wicked excited to finally have his work paying off and is ready to show his training in real world experience.

I have started going to a Woman's Bible study on Sunday morning which is really awesome and went to a Portland Camera Club meeting with my mom. The Camera club was awesome and we are thinking of joining. I also started going to MOMS group in Portland which is a great opportunity to spend time with other moms in various points in Life!

Occasionally we also have a date night...sometimes...mostly we do things that we can do as a family! :)

Other then that it is changing diapers, changing outfits, going for walks, and trying to get a baby to sit when all she wants to do is roll!!

Update

So Lizzy is almost 24 weeks old and is learning new things everyday...

She Can Now:
   Roll from room to room
   Grab and pull hair
Reach and pull things off low shelves (or as we pass them when holding her)
"TALK" "GAA-GAGA"  "BAA-BABA" DAA-DADA" no MAMA yet but working on it :)
   Responds to "LIZZY"
Sit on her own for 30-45 seconds
   Chews on her toys
Rock back and forth on her knees and elbows
Eat jar foods with rice and oatmeal

It is truly amazing just how much she learns everyday!!

23 WEEKS

Our Baby Girl is 23 weeks old today!!! Not too far in the future, she will be 6 months old!! We just can't believe how fast time flies!!!

Fryeburg Fair 2010

 OCTOBER 6TH, 2010

It was a very wet and cold Day at the Fair...But we had so much fun!!

I tried to get a picture of Lizzy but she was too busy smashing her slipper into cow manure...which I didn't notice until after I took the picture !!!!!!   :/

We walked around and got some fair food and of course went to see the animals.  Lizzy was so excited to see the cows, chickens, goats, and sheep!
Although, she started "growling" at the cows and bulls, they didn't seem to be happy about it so we decided to move onto animals that wouldn't be bothered by her "talking".

Throughout the day we got several compliments from other parents on the warm contraption we had created for Lizzy! We told them we had just put her Bundle me in the stroller, put a hat on her head and then put a rain cover over the stroller!

She was completely HAPPY all day long!!

Of course we checked out several of the craft tables, which Jimmy didn't mind because it was warm in the buildings. (And Dry)

We saw a Pig scramble, which was so much fun to watch.
Jimmy is the definition of a city boy and it was interesting to see his reaction when he was told that children get to catch piglets and keep them for pets!!

We don't get many chances to spend time as a family so nothing could ruin our fun!! Not even the pouring rain or cold...although when we started seeing our breath, we decided it was time for hot chocolate and a warm ride home!!

Trip to the mountains and Christmas loft!

Our drive down to New Hampshire was fun and mostly uneventful...we stopped for coffee (of course) and took the scenic route down 302!

October 6th, 2010

Once we got down to North Conway we stopped and took some pictures and then went to the Christmas Loft!

Jimmy and I have been going to the Christmas loft since we started dating...our favorite place in North Conway!

Since Elizabeth was born we kept saying we needed to bring her to this amazing store where they celebrate Christmas all year long, we finally got there!

A big part of this store is the animated Santa that stands about 8 feet tall...Lizzy LOVED him!

After a lovely walk through Christmas loft, we headed out to the Fryeburg Fair!
