Update

So Lizzy is almost 24 weeks old and is learning new things everyday...

She Can Now:
   Roll from room to room
   Grab and pull hair
Reach and pull things off low shelves (or as we pass them when holding her)
"TALK" "GAA-GAGA"  "BAA-BABA" DAA-DADA" no MAMA yet but working on it :)
   Responds to "LIZZY"
Sit on her own for 30-45 seconds
   Chews on her toys
Rock back and forth on her knees and elbows
Eat jar foods with rice and oatmeal

It is truly amazing just how much she learns everyday!!

The Harris wedding! 10-9-10

On Saturday, Mom, Bill, Lizzy and I made the trip down to NH for Scotty and Kari's wedding. They got married at a lighthouse with a fantastic view!
After, we went to their house for a cookout and some fun times with family!

23 WEEKS

Our Baby Girl is 23 weeks old today!!! Not too far in the future, she will be 6 months old!! We just can't believe how fast time flies!!!

Fryeburg Fair 2010

 OCTOBER 6TH, 2010

It was a very wet and cold Day at the Fair...But we had so much fun!!

I tried to get a picture of Lizzy but she was too busy smashing her slipper into cow manure...which I didn't notice until after I took the picture !!!!!!   :/

We walked around and got some fair food and of course went to see the animals.  Lizzy was so excited to see the cows, chickens, goats, and sheep!
Although, she started "growling" at the cows and bulls, they didn't seem to be happy about it so we decided to move onto animals that wouldn't be bothered by her "talking".

Throughout the day we got several compliments from other parents on the warm contraption we had created for Lizzy! We told them we had just put her Bundle me in the stroller, put a hat on her head and then put a rain cover over the stroller!

She was completely HAPPY all day long!!

Of course we checked out several of the craft tables, which Jimmy didn't mind because it was warm in the buildings. (And Dry)

We saw a Pig scramble, which was so much fun to watch.
Jimmy is the definition of a city boy and it was interesting to see his reaction when he was told that children get to catch piglets and keep them for pets!!

We don't get many chances to spend time as a family so nothing could ruin our fun!! Not even the pouring rain or cold...although when we started seeing our breath, we decided it was time for hot chocolate and a warm ride home!!

Trip to the mountains and Christmas loft!

Our drive down to New Hampshire was fun and mostly uneventful...we stopped for coffee (of course) and took the scenic route down 302!

October 6th, 2010

Once we got down to North Conway we stopped and took some pictures and then went to the Christmas Loft!

Jimmy and I have been going to the Christmas loft since we started dating...our favorite place in North Conway!

Since Elizabeth was born we kept saying we needed to bring her to this amazing store where they celebrate Christmas all year long, we finally got there!

A big part of this store is the animated Santa that stands about 8 feet tall...Lizzy LOVED him!

After a lovely walk through Christmas loft, we headed out to the Fryeburg Fair!

First trip apple picking!

October 3, 2010

We went apple picking with Mammie, Bampa, Auntie Christine, Lindy, Auntie Megan, Dorothy, Annabelle, Brianna and Chip! It was so much fun...there is more pictures of course...

Elizabeth really loved the pumpkin!

Lizzy will stick anything in her mouth and when she shoved a Lizzy sized apple in her mouth she decided that this might be her favorite!!
Dory was a pro at climbing the ladder to get apples!!! Bampa showed her how to pick apples and then stick them into her pockets!
Dory had a lot of fun feeding carrots to the horses that carted us out to the orchards!

Lizzy holding onto the apple tree...She started eating the leaves until we showed her something much more tasty..... AN APPLE!!!

Annabelle had so much fun apple picking....she found an apple and figured that was enough work for her!! I think she's onto something there!!!

Credit to my Mom, Bonnie Shippen, for taking the photos in this post! (and many of my other posts as well)
